Paula grew up in Roraima, Brazil. She graduated from Mackenzie Rio, passed the Brazilian Bar, and practiced in Brazil for 10 years before joining Loyola. She earned her Civil Litigation and Advocacy LLM in 2022 and expects to conclude her Criminal Justice LLM in 2024. Paula is particularly drawn to Loyola Law School’s Catholic roots, its commitment to diversity, and its strong values in social justice. At Loyola, she found the people, the books and the means to transform her enthusiasm into skills and knowledge.
