Ana Sanchez

Ana is a third-year law student interested in criminal law and public interest. She was born in Mexico and moved to the United States as a child. Prior to law school, she worked as a victim advocate for survivors of sexual assault going through the criminal justice process and interned for several political campaigns. She externed for the Riverside District Attorney’s Office and is currently part of the Hobbs/Poehls District Attorney Practicum. She spent this semester as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, and participated in the Young Lawyers Program, Latinx Law Students Association and the Criminal Law Society. She enjoys doing yoga, curling up with a good fantasy book, and having brunch with friends.
