Lia is a first-year law student with a strong interest in business and real estate law. Born in Iran, she immigrated to the United States at the age of 13, an experience that shaped her resilience and drive. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA with a degree in psychology. Before law school, she worked at an estate planning law firm, where she gained hands-on experience navigating complex legal matters. As a Business Law Fellow, she is committed to expanding her expertise in corporate and property law. Lia is also actively involved in Legal Education Access and Development LLS (LEAD), working to create opportunities and promote accessibility for pre-law and current law students. Outside of her legal pursuits, she enjoys baking cookies, building puzzles, and camping with friends and family.
