Ashli grew up in a small town in Central Texas and attended the University of North Texas. She graduated as a first-generation college student and the first woman in mher family to earn a Bachelor’s degree. Ashli spent two summers working as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, and was a clinical student in the Juvenile Justice Clinic. After graduation and sitting for the bar exam, she will work as a Senior Law Clerk for the L.A. County Public Defender’s Office. In her free time, she reads romance novels and spends time with the friends she met in school.
